Zeolite is a natural mineral with hundreds of benefits to aid in our everyday lives. I have been amazed at the lack of it's use in the United States. For example, in comparing products for cat litter in local shelves, I have noticed a potpourri of clays, fragrances, deodorants, fillers, and assorted other chemicals to rid the litter of the offensive odors. Zeolite has a natural affinity to absorb and trap ammonia odors that cause the offensive smell, yet very few, if any of the top manufacturers are utilizing it. It is often the norm to use a chemical based product to mask, what Zeolite will eliminate for a lot less.
The International Zeolite Association offers a lot of research information on the use of Zeolites. Along with the technical information that we have gathered, we hope that by having the information available quickly will aid in the research of Zeolites for use in the United States.
Research is needed on the use of Zeolite in a pre-cleaner for the Automotive Industries. Field trials are showing that Zeolite canisters placed before the air cleaner results in cleaner, enriched air reaching the engine. The results on the field trials are encouraging and are showing improved milage, horsepower, and cleaner emmissions.
We are currently looking for research studies to aid in the use of Zeolite for the automotive industry.
