Zeo-Life Natural Filter Media is a great replacement for your existing sand in your current swimming pool environment.

It improves sand filter performance by:

Improving Clarity  with a DE-Like micron filtration and a high surface area.  Reduces Ammonia, reduces cholromides, and reduces shock treatments. It also reduces water and energy use. It will double the time between backwashes and reduce backwashes by up to 50%.

Replacement for Existing Sand

Zeo-Life Natural Filter Media is a highly purified natural zeolite mineral which has a unique three dimensional honeycomb structure.  Natural zeolites were formed millions of years ago by alkaline salt water altering volcanic ash.  Zeo-Life Natural Filter Media is a clinotilolite natural zeolite.  It's crystal type structure provides a large surface area and an ammonium trapping capacity.

Natural zeolites contain a 1-15 micron pore spacing on the surface to trap smaller particles than sand, increasing water clarity.  A 25 lb. bag of Zeo-Life natural Filter Media has the surface area of over 50 NFL football fields, while the surface area of regular sand covers only one field.  The large surface area holds more dirt than sand eliminating the amount of time spent backwashing.

Zeolites trap ammonium ions by a molecular seiving or water softening action.  Regular sand filter media has no molecular seiving capability.  Less amonia in the water results in fewer eye-burning chloromides being formed.  Fewer chemical shocks are needed because of the lower chloromine levels.  A 25 lb. bag will trap about 1/2lb. of ammonium ions.

Absorbtion Solutions offers Zeo-Life Natural Filter Media for a cost of .00 for 50lbs.  For an additional .00, we will replace the sand for you.
